Rebecca is a recent graduate of the North Bennet Street School Bookbinding program where she studied under Jeff Altepeter and Martha Kearsley. She also holds an MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, and an MS in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons College.  Rebecca has completed internships at the Congregational Library, Harvard University, and Dartmouth College. She is currently engaged in a 10-week project for the National Park Service at the Collections Conservation Branch of the Historic Architecture, Conservation, and Engineering Center, where she is working on items from the John Quincy Adams House and Franklin Delano Roosevelt House.

Next year, Rebecca will be taking part in an exhibit entitled Bibliothecarii et Glutinatores (Librarians as Bookbinders). It will be on view in the Gates Exhibition Hall at Denver Public Library's Central Branch from January - March 2018.

Rebecca operates SAD IRON BINDERY out of Western Studios in Lowell, MA in a shared work space with friend and colleague Todd Davis of Middlesex Bindery. She lives in Winthrop, MA with her husband Eric, and their menagerie of pets.
